After this hall the Dr. Carlos Guada, pharmaceutical counselor of our main house in Spain, carried out a journey detailed by the characteristics, kindness and applications of the products Reveex that are part of the portfolio of the force of sales of AGROMEX.

The day was carried out in an enriching atmosphere where the contribution of the force of sales of AGROMEX, led by the Dr. Jacobo Isaac, was key piece in the exchange of experiences and the analysis of the alternatives of uses of the products.

In the pavilions of the fair, exhibitors and technicians of the Chemical Industry were placed to announce the last novelties and innovations in the field of the investigation, equipments, products and raw materials.

The REVEEX Group from Venezuela, sent the Engineer Marta Rius and the Dr. Marta Pèrez that belong to the Head Quarters of the company in Spain. They were searching for new equipments to improve the production of REVEEX and new equipments to modernize the analysis process for the Raw material and finished products.

The fair, occupied 65.000m2 as informed the President of the EXPOQUIMIA, Mr. Rafael Foguet, where, the Spanish chemical industry represents the 10% of the PIB and is the second export sector in the country with an increase inter-annual of the 3%

In the section of the international conferences and forums, it's important to emphasize the presence of the Chemistry Nobel price, Mr. Kurt Wuthrich.

The meeting was attended by Lic. José Escalante (General Director), Lic. Bayardo López (Sales Manager), Ing. Javier Latino (Technical Promotor for Poultry and Swine) and Mr. Luís Tinoco on behalf of ESCASAN, as well as by Ing. Ricardo Villacorta and DVM Julio César Suárez on behalf of Laboratorios Reveex de Venezuela, C.A. Participants could exchange ideas and experiences to establish the criteria for implementation of activities included in such plan.

Among these activities, we can point out:

Creation of an exclusive leaflet for ESCASAN containing some technical information about Reveex products marketed in Nicaragua.
Delivery of promotional material for Pet Shampoo Line.
Support to the Poultry Line through field visits accompanied by experts with a wide experience in avian pathology.

García G., in collaboration with the Faculty of Veterinary Science from the Universidad Central de Venezuela (FCV-UV) and the National Institute for Agricultural Research (INIA) Monagas.
The study was published under the title Evaluation of efficacy of a product containing isomethamidium chloride and oxytetracycline hydrochloride in a fattening herd from Edo. Monagas naturally infected by Tripanosoma vivax and Anaplasma marginale and it can be found under the following reference: Venezuela Bovina, Año 23, Nº 78, 2008, pag. 34 / 43.
The results of this study were already published in our web on July 22, 2008 under the title Good results in the efficacy trial of ISOPAN.

Dr. Carlos Linares, Veterinary doctor with more than 20 year experience as a Sale Supervisor of Laboratorios Reveex, C.A. had the chance to exchange experiences with the agricultural producers of Nagua, San Francisco de Macorís, Puerto Plata, Santiago, El Cibao, Moca, Licey, Bani, and Santo Domingo area.

This technical-commercial support day is a part of activities that Laboratorios Reveex de Venezuela, C.A. carry out to help the commercial and professional development of its distributors.
]]> http://www.reveex.com/noticia?cod=43 29-07-08 Laboratorios Reveex de Venezuela C.A., in collaboration with the Facultad de Ciencias Veterinarias de la Universidad Central de Venezuela (FCV-UV) and with the Instituto Nacional de Investigaciones Agrícolas (INIA) Monagas, carried out an efficacy trial with ISOPAN in a Tripanosoma vivas and Anaplasma marginale infected cattle herd.
The study showed the curative effect of ISOPAN (Isometamidium chloride 10 mg/ml and chlortetracycline hydrochloride 280 mg/ml) and evaluated the chemoprophylactic effect in treated cattle, through the determination of: body weight, daily gain of body weight, hematocrite value and T. vivax and A. marginale seroprevalence in an enzootic area, compared with untreated infected animals.
Part of results in this trial indicates that cattle showed a high incidence of bovine trypanosomiasis, taking into consideration the high prevalence of T. vivax (parasitologic and serologic).
At the end of the trial, the animals treated with ISOPAN had higher hematocrite value (33,43%), increased body weight (86,86 kg) and increased daily weight gain (724 g/day) in reference with the control animals which showed lower values (29,6%, 50,0 kg, and 416,6 g/day), respectively. In conclusion, the treatment with ISOPAN leaded to higher gain of body weight, which produces an upper productivity and economic profitability. Cattle treated with ISOPAN showed a higher gross utility in comparison with untreated animals. Moreover the cost-profit rate was higher in dosed animals (25%), compared with the control group (16%).
Extrapolating the cost-profit rate to 100 animals infected with T. vivax treated with ISOPAN and without treatment, it would be possible to obtain a higher gross utility in treated animals (Bs. F.33.444,26 vs Bs. F. 19.550,00), with a profit of Bs. F. 13.894,26 favourable to ISOPAN treatment and with a higher cost ? profit rate (25%).]]> http://www.reveex.com/noticia?cod=42 22-07-08
